Key Advantages
Deco Bond delivers beneficial properties when simply added to mixing water.
Extremely Good Adhesion
Outstanding bonding strength between substrates, mortar, and new concrete surfaces.
Reduced Shrinkage
Significantly reduces shrinkage in cement mortars, preventing cracks and surface defects.
Excellent Water Resistance
Hydrophobic properties prevent moisture ingress for floor screeds, renders, and wet areas.
Greater Elasticity
Enhanced flexibility reduces cracking from structural movement and thermal changes.
Abrasion Resistance
Superior surface hardness and wear resistance for high-traffic floor applications.
Non-Toxic Formula
Safe for residential, commercial, and food-safe environments under health & safety codes.
Usage & Applications
Deco Bond is a high quality emulsion that substantially increases the qualities of cement mortars, suitable for a wide range of tasks.
Thin Layer Patching Mortars
Repairs surface defects with a smooth, durable finish.
Renders
Improved adhesion and weather resistance for walls.
Floor Screeds
Enhanced bonding and reduced shrinkage for level screeds.
Concrete Repairs
Strong bonding of repair mortar to damaged concrete.
Abrasion Resistant Linings
Hard-wearing surfaces for heavy duty industrial floors.
Tile Fixing Mortars
High grab strength that prevents tile slip during installation.
Masonry Mortars
Greater elasticity for movement-resistant joints.
Bonding Old to New Concrete
Secure bond between existing and freshly poured concrete.
Application Instructions
Follow these steps for optimal performance and long-lasting results with Deco Bond emulsion.
Surface Preparation
Ensure concrete surfaces are clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, and loose particles. Saturate absorbent surfaces thoroughly before application.
Mix Bond Solution
Add Deco Bond emulsion to clean mixing water in the required ratio. For renders, brush a bonding coat of Deco Bond solution into the prepared surface.
Apply Mortar
Apply mortar while the bonding coat is still wet. Add more Deco Bond solution to the mix if required.
Ecology, Health & Safety
Ecology
Do not dispose of into water or soil. Dispose of according to local regulations.
Safety Precautions
Contact with skin or eyes may cause irritation. Flush with clean water and seek medical attention.
Toxicity
Non-Toxic under relevant health and safety codes. Transport classified as non-hazardous.
